Elan students Malik, Jack, Drew, Steve along with one of the Director's and his family attended a Native American POW WOW, a multi-cultural event held recently at the Game Farm in Gray Maine.  Malik, who is a member of the Mashantucket-Peqot tribe of Connecticut, was able to share his culture with some of his teammates and peers. Malik is a skilled jewler who makes native american arts and crafts and necklaces. Drew interviewed tribal Chief, Don Marnaby for the school newspaper, "The Elan Times."
